Savage model and time I.D.

I have a Savage 10 rifle in 308 I have really grown to appreciate.
With it's factory finish, function and accuracy, I am thinking it's a premium model of some sort.
The finish look textured and baked, never had a gun with this on before, it's actually pretty decent.
Function, well it feeds and extracts without a hiccup, Savages are rumoured to be bad but never had one go bad on me yet,
And my Savage ESS/iBi loads we're instantly 0.6 moa accurate in this setup without ever having done a load dev, funny coincidence lands are within 5 thous from my iBi setup so I just used same ammo.
Stock unbedded and no load dev done, although I suspect my load to be a known pet load.

With the serial number, is there a way to ID it to see if ever I could get another one like it or at least have an idea what I got in hand?
Something I purchased some time ago and just slept in the safe until funds we're released to get optics for it, now I got a cheap scope (PST gen 1) and very good rail and rings for it, and it's a shooter!

I posted this in case someone that’s deep into Savage actions like Ganderite or such would have an interest.
For having owned 3 modern ones, this old school one definitely rocks.
Just wondering if it’s actually old school or just a modern premium savage of some kind.

Don't know why I initially taught they wouldn't want to help a Canadian with a stupid rifle history question, but they came through and did.

This is the reply I got, it's much more modern than I expected, I was expecting something pre-2000s for some reason.

I didn't know mine was an FCP-HS as it got an M24 resembling stock, and has some sort of coated rough texture finish, pictures don't do it justice it looks real pretty in person.
At 500 and something $ on the EE last year, I am still very happy purchasing this classic looking rifle.
So far with my 175 SMK recipe for my other ESS/iBi Savage works sub 3/4moa 5 shot groups no load dev on this rifle, which to me is awesome, hitting well above it's price point!
I'll make it a load dev at some point and maybe bed it, to see what I can squeeze out of this.

I have the exact rifle, the first time out with it (purchased new) it put 4 Federal 168gr GMM in one hole at the range. Haven't really shot it much, but intending on working up a load for it one of these days. Mostly just ringing steel out to around 600 meters with the 168gr GMM.

The stock is a Bell & Carlson Target/Competition, decent stock but pretty heavy. The HS stock just didn't have a high enough comb and I'm not a fan of add-on cheek pieces. Planning to bed it over winter and really try to wring it out accuracy wise.

Your rail and rings seem to be sitting high which isn't helping cheek rest height for sure.
Does the B&C have aluminium bedding inside?

As mine was originally purchased for 100-300M hunting and 200-600M matches, and am now realizing that the rifle ended up heavier than expected for 300M kneeling.
For the 300M kneeling in hunting scenarios I may look into a stag 10 or a browning hells canyon speed instead of this heavyweight...

I have it about as low as I could get it with a 20 moa base, the rings are ATRS 30mm lows and if they made ultra lows that would be better...looked around at a few different ring options at the time, couldn't find any decent quality rings that were lower.

The B&C does have an alloy bedding block.

I have one of the original 308 10 HS models, slightly different stock, probably the same 24" barreled action. Picked up a few 10 round mags for it, never had a problem and quite accurate.
