Savage parts: where can I order??? Who can export/import parts

Hello, anyone know of a vendor who can order in parts for a savage?

I have a B-mag that needs a bolt release and ejector, and an old 1899 (303) that needs an extractor.

The savage arms parts place in the US says only someone with an FFL can purchase, I don't know who does that in Canada.

Call savage canada. They will patch you through to parts in the USA. I had to do this for a trigger guard and bottom metal

Made in Canada then exported to the US to be reimported to Canada for people that need them. Makes sense.

You can deal directly with the Savage plant in Lakefield Ontario - they made your 22. For the 1899, try the EE, Western Gun Parts, or Numrich.

I have a 15 year old Savage that someone bubba’d the trigger so called Savage in the US to just ask a question. She said Savage would fix it for free as it was perceived to be a safety issue and gave me the Lakefield phone number. Called and talked to a nice guy in the US as the call got redirected, lol. He said Lakefield rarely answers the phone so he picks it up. Bottom line, I dropped by the factory at Lakefield and their gunsmith installed a new trigger in about 10 minutes while I waited and no charge either.

The lakefield location will send one part, the bolt release for the b-mag needs to be ordered through a gunsmith apparently for some reason.

They said aftermarket for the 1899 extractor
