I was going by this thread and a thread I'd seen on a US sight. However, this thread is over a year old?

When they were bought out they didn't have the paperwork to ship. One would think they have that sorted out by now.
I received a part from Savage USA a couple weeks ago after a 3 month wait. I had heard the same story about them having to rejig a lot of paperwork due to the new ownership/homeland security issues, perhaps they are up to speed now.

Why wouldn't you just contact Savage ? Rather then rely on a year old internet thread , and other internet hear say.
A couple of years ago I ordered parts from Savage , I picked up the phone placed my order , 11 days later parts were in my mailbox.
Couldn't have been easier .
