savage pre fit

I am wondering where i can find a savage pre fit barrel in Canada I keep hearing that they are hard to import into Canada so is there a dealer that is importing them i want to convert along action tac model in 223 to a 6.5 someting depending on the barrel I also need a new bolt head and magazine well is this a lost cause thanks

I have no experience with them, but was looking at Shilen barrels - they have a pre-fit Savage barrel, match grade, different calibres and twists. Your right, you need a new bolt head, might be easier to try and get a Stevens and build with a Shilen barrel if you want to just bolt it on.

I believe that Blue Mountain Sports in New Brunswick can order Savage pre-fit Lothar Walthar barrels.

You can order them directly from Pac-Nor barrels as well. They ship to Canada.
