Designed by professional predator callers,

Give me a break. It's just a camo rifle that's all.

The most important thing besides the attempt of concealment would be it's weight but the pros forgot to tell us how much it weighs. If it's like all other Savages it weighs a ton. Just like that 6lb Seirra, actually a 7lb rifle.

The pros decided to leave the rifle at 22". Thank god they went to predator college. Who knows what they would be wasting their life at.

they should of given it a detach mag, or hinged floorplate (just like Remington should for their Light Varmint), and a 24" barrel. Predator hunters rarely find themselves in heavy cover, so a short barrel offers little advantage.

I own the gun in the 22-250 model and all I can say its wicked. Best coyote gun so far.
Mine does have a detach mag, and the accutrigger is a nice addition.
With a nice scope setup and with the help of the heavy barrel you can take take down any coyote in sight!!

Weight I think is 8.5 lbs if I remeber correctly, sure maybe on the heavy side but I guess thats expected when its equipped with the heavy barrel.
With how accurate it shoots with the barrel I don't mind carrying it around.

Whenever I hear about a camoed up guns for hunting I always think About Gerry Blair who Writes about predator hunting/calling and the stunt he pulled off to show that Camo is not that important.

He actually dressed in a Santa Suit and successfully called in/shot a Coyote just to show that they didnt' know the difference between the santa suit and Mossy Oak :)

geared up its prob that heavy yeah, but i agree, with how well it shoots, i dont care how heavy it is (of course i dont want it to be 15 lbs!) i think its advertised as 7.25 lbs

Ya with pi pod and scope. But yeah on the heavy side but its a give and take. For the cash I dont think you can get better then this for a coyote gun.
