Savage PTG Bolt Head

Does anyone here have any experience replacing their Savage bolt head with a PTG?

I understand from Sharpshooter Supply that the PTG units are out of spec. and wanted a second opinion. The issue might be that the PTG unit has less generous dimensions for the case head than a stock Savage unit.

I am especially interested in any challenges that might have been experienced installing the stock Savage bolt head parts (extractor, ejector) on the PTG unit, and any mods that may have had to be made.

I changed one out in my 308. It works fine, the only issue was that it did change the headspace so I had to undo the barrel nut and adjust slightly and tighten things back up. 80 rounds through with no issues. factory bolt head parts fit with no issues.
