Savage Rascal Scope Suggestions

My 11 year old has no issue with it but my 3 year old has a hard time with enough strength in her thumb. Maybe it is designed that way for extra safety....at least that is what I've always chalked it up to.

i lubed the hell out of the safety on mine, it was pretty sticky when a friends 5 year old tried, seems to have worn itself down a tick and work a bit better now
