Over the winter i bought a sporterised Savage No4 Mk1 and rebuilt it back to the way it looked in 1943,I went to the range today to see how it shoots and was quite impressed.
At 50 Yards with the battle sight and my limited shooting skills it was pretty accurate.

.....I'm envious of lefty's on a bolt action {can cycle the bolt while leaving the booger hook on the bang switch!} that's a nice looking .303 too
