Savage Revel DLX 22

Skinner has quite a few new sights and mounts.... here's another possibility for a lower profile.
They make the stud in 8-40 and 6-48.

Savage won't support their current models, good luck with support and parts for this newer, more complex rifle. :(

Picked up a .22mag classic this weekend. Hopefully get to the range with it this weekend.
I have the same rifle. Only 1 box through it. Needs some tweaking sight wise I think. Front sight a little harder to pick up than others I thought. Action is beautiful- my 12 yr old daughter says it’s bang on and it must be me !

Savage super glued that damn sticker on the bottom of the forestock on mine FFS.

I used a heat gun and it still just peeled the top layer of the sticker off leaving the sticky ####. Lightly dabbed rubbing alcohol on the sticky part then wiped it off. Have a rag with soapy water...this is what's left. Taking the stain off now lol

Mine too. Cleans right up with WD40

I used a heat gun .
Well that sucks!!
I just scratched at mine with my finger nail, enough to grab the corner and it just peeled right off. It did not leave any glue residue behind.
Wondering if heating up the sticker glue reacted with the Danish oil blend they used.

It's too bad, but wouldn't take much to reseal with either a Danish or Antique Oil. I'd use a satin finish to match what's on there already.

I wondered that. When I first shot it I was picking at it and couldn't get it started to peel so I just kept shooting it and tried taking it off when home and thought heat gun would help. Might have made it worse lol

Not a huge deal, But I wish they put the sticker in the box, not on the gun
