Need help......
Can't make up my mind......
I have a pre-accutrigger 12FV in 22-250, I want a .223 as I already load for the AR15 and this will eliminate an extra cartridge to load for. I bought a boyds stock, pillar and glass bedded it, and I really like the stock. I was thinking of either selling the whole rig and buying a 12BVSS OR, just buy another 12FV and switch stocks....then sell the 22-250? How well will the accu-trigger action mate up with my pre-accutrigger inletting and bedding?
Here is the stock:

A barrel nut wrench is fairly cheap. I like my SSS one, nice and strong.
Get one of his recoil lugs while your at it, the original one is not straight.
You will need a new bolt head. If your rifle was made before 2001, [approx serial number F930000, right MadDog ;) ] it likely has the small cross pin/large firing pin. You need to know this when getting a bolt head. BTW, your existing bolt head will work with a .308 [.473 case head] but the max box and follower won't.

As far as the stock goes, only a small amount of material needs to be removed to fit for the accutrigger. Since you already inletted one and bedded it, you will have absolutely no trouble removing a tad bit more on one side under the tang for the accutrigger mech.

The only issue is a new .223 heavy barrel. PM me if you can wait months for one.
