Savage Rifles question

I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is a kit available for converting blind magazine Savage Rifles to detachable magazine. Can anyone point me in the right direction or am I just dreaming:confused: :confused: :confused:
 
I have heard of such kits for Mauser 98s and Remington 700s, but never for Savages. I like detachable magazines so I'll be glad if they do exist as they would probably work on the Stevens Model 200 and then I could decide to want one.
 
There was a guy that posted here who either made or sold kits for Remingtons. He said a kit for Savages was coming. I thought the price was freakin ridiculous at about $600. I'll glue in a M14 mag before paying $600, give me a break.
