Savage Scout 110 Thread Pitch

I just bought a Savage 110 Scout in .308, should have it by Friday! Just curious if anyone knows the thread diameter and pitch on these? I think it's 5/8x24, wondering because if I ever want to remove the muzzle brake I would like to have a thread protector handy, would be great if someone knew offhand so I don't have to monkey around with it too much!
 
5/8x24 on the one my hunting buddy just bought . dont blame you though , with the break that thing is loud as heck .
Congrats of the new rifle though !
