Hi fellow nutz,
I'm looking around for a grouse hunting gun. Something light and accurate enough to be able to hit a grouse in the head at max 20 yd). I'm currently using an old cooey single-shot / no mag (father in law's) and it's horribly slow, plus somewhat inaccurate (I could be to blame for that though hehe, but it wouldn't shoot straight @ 5 yards when we both shoot it).

Anywoo, I don't want to spend a fortune and I would like having a semi-auto with wood stock. Even though the kid in me would love to pimp-up a 10/22, I figured a savage 64G (I like the wood stock) would probably suit my needs just fine. Does anyone have one? Are there are quirks or else that I should be aware of? Are they pretty accurate?

Cheers!
