savage shotgun model 520

i picked up a savage model 520 pump shotgun 2 3/4 and iv lood all over the internet and cant find what year it they were made

You could try giving Savage a call, worked for me when I had a question on their 24 series from the 1970's

I have one, they were made from 1926 to late 30's is what i found out.

 

[Ballistic Experience]

There are 2 styles of them. The older version has a double hump action. The newer ones have a single hump style action. I am patial to the older double hump style but both are nice old guns.
