Savage/Stevens 512 Question from a newbie

Hi all...very cool site! Can you help? What is everyone's opinion of the Savage/Stevens 512 as a starter sporting clays gun and general purpose O/U?

Not sure on the Stevens, but I own a Savage Milano. Good trap gun.

I think Wholesale has them for $550. My local dealer said he can get one so I will try him first before I go out of province.
