Savage / Stevens interchangable?

Is the stock interchangable between Stevens 300F and Savage Mark II?

Don't think so as the stevens uses the old receiver and the savages use the new E receiver

Well I did drop a Stevens 305,that's 22WMR into a Richard's Microfit Wild Cat Thumbhole that was inlet for the non E Receiver Mark II.Took a little work with the inletting but it worked out fine.I never measured,but I think mine has the E Receiver(longer action),but of coarse the standard trigger housing.The pillars were in the same location.Hope this helps.

I was kind of curious too, so I popped both into models boyds stocks. Different model numbers popped (if you were ordering one) up, dimensionally the same, being based on the newer receiver. There is a description (identical in both).
