okay guys im at a dead end here. i am a left handed shooter. i bought a 22-250 stevens 200 which i thought would be staggered feed. turned out to be center feed. the rifle is a right hand action of course. boyds makes stocks for the staggered feed in left hand right bolt but not for the center feed.

i was on a forum a while back and came accross a guy who says he converted a staggered feed stock to fit a center feed rifle. is this possible? i cant find any other kind of stock for this rifle in lefty or ambidextrous other then bench rest heavy barrel stocks.
 
i think you can get a ramline synthetic that will work but i dont know of anyone who has them in canada, i am also looking for a replacement stock for my stevens 200 but cant find one this side of the border.
if you track down a source let me know!!

How do you find the stevens for shooting left handed? I am looking at the stevens in .223 for a first rifle.

I have a steven 223 and am a lefty and have no problem at all. I grew up using my my right hand for most things. With the tang safety I have no problem. If you shoot off sticks or the bench you should have no problem using the bolt. Good gun for the money. I would only buy a right handed bolt because that is what I am use to. Tang safety is perfect for us lefties.
