Thanks,

I know there are ALOT of US shooters in the LR game that bug me now and then to learn more about these PGW rifles.

Interested in a rifle review?????

I can definitely set up something with some high end optics to test with.

Send me a PM if there is interest.

Great post, thank you on behalf of other newbies. gives a very good over view.

given the opportunity, would you have used an accustock instead?

The Accustock would be great IF you didn't want to modify the front half of the stock too much. The Alum chassis would get in the way - could always grind it out of the way so??????.

But because the chassis only goes to the trigger guard, all the cut and paste I did on the rear of the stock would work just fine.

I think it would be more difficult trying to fit the rails to an accustock BUT it would be very rigid out of the box. Kind of only one way to find out :)

If I had a sporter accustock, I would give it a try.

308BAR, not trying to brag but when the timing is done, the action becomes so much nicer to use.

I am sure you know how positive I am on these actions for competition (f class) but it was becoming a royal pain to work the bolt while prone. This lead me to learn about bolt timing and do the mod.

Now I can run the action and not need to take my head off the stock. That is a good thing.

I would also like to thank Jerry for all of his help. He put up with a barrage of e-mails from a guy new to custom rifles (me) and helped out a great deal. I can’t wait to see his work in person.
