Was in the process of getting parts to build a precision rifle on a savage LRPV action. Still waiting on my Shilen 6br bbl. Decided to spin on a virgin 24" .308 select match Pac-nor I had laying around. I picked this bbl up just because it was an extremely good deal and was still not sure if I wanted to use it. When Shilen emailed to say that I can add 8-10 weeks onto my already late bbl decided I might as well try her out. Threw together a load in some FL sized brass. First group to sight in from a cold bbl was just over 1/2 inch, second group shown in pics is a 5 shot group shot immediately after. The gun itself is not even bedded yet. Just bolted her up after finishing the stock and took her to the range. Wish I would have had more ammo loaded up to give her a better test run but so far I am expecting some pretty good accuracy when all it is all finished.

Stock is from SSS. I like the RB SAV2 trigger better. The target action trigger is OK but not quite as light as the RB trigger. Don't think I am quite getting it to 6oz's but no trigger pull gauge.

Cheers
