I have had a chance to adjust the bolt timing on my tenth Savage/Stevens to confirm my technique to reduce, ease and smooth the bolt lift. Works like a charm.

I'd love to read a description of your technique for bolt timing adjustment etc ... I've played around with my Stevens 200 - truing the receiver face and barrel nut, bolt head locking lugs, milling the bolt body to adjust primary extraction and making a ball bearing "friction reducer" thingy for the cocking sleeve ....
I'm sure there is a lot more that can be done to tune these rifles, and any insight you could offer would be great !
P.S. - What stocks do you have available ?? I'm looking to re-stock a center-feed .223 Stevens 200 .... something a little more varmint-rifle like
