The difference is that the Trophy Hunter is marketed in the States, and the International Trophy is marketed elseware (ie. Canada). You are correct about the scope, and yes it is the only difference. As far as I have understood from the Savage website.

For whatever reason Cabelas lists it as a "Trophy Hunter" and has chosen to take the "International" out of it.

Ok,now i know what you mean.In Canada it has a weaver and a nikon in the US.
