I have a Savage mod.99 that had a small medallion imbedded in the stock well it came out and i can,t seem to be able to find out where i can get one to replace it . It was about the size of a dime. Any info would be appreciated.

Try a local engraving shop that carries medals and trophies they may have the tag or at least know someone that can inlay one for you

Keep an eye on ebay, they show up there from time to time usually $10 - $20. It is the same one that was used in the grip caps, the later ones were silver coloured and not gold like you need, so it will have to be the earlier style.
