Hi all,

Does anyone know if anyone make mags for the above, greater than 5rds?

If you ask why ... why not?

:p :D

I've done some searching and did not come up with anything. Or even ones made for another rifle that may fit would be good.

Sorry I have gone on a wild goose hunt for those as well and came up with a blank. It is getting to the point that I am also having a hard time finding the standard 5 round mags... My best advice is once you see these mags for sale (the 5 rounders since theres nothing else) buy as many as you can! it will make life easier.

I got the regular mags from Wholesale Sports in Winnipeg. I even asked them about these and they just shrugged their shoulders and gave me the "I don't know". That's too bad that no one makes them. I bet they would sell good as well. I would trade mine for a couple of 10rd'ers any day.

I thought I seen a 10 round mag in the USA 2 years ago, but when I went back to the store on a later date, I couldn't find it anywhere. Now I have been looking but to this day I can't confirm there are any 10 round mags for the model 93 savage. believe me if I find some I will post it.

For me it's the reverse, I have a 10 round .22lr magazine for my Mark II, but I want the 5 round magazines instead. I hate all the banana mags out there.

Cheers,
Sand

I have a 93 BTVS in 22 mag and have never found so much as a spare mag anywhere. I understand they are made in Canada so I'm surprised how difficult it is to find a extra or hi cap mag.

Savage Canada 705-652-8000 .this is the cheapest source for 5 rd mags .I think I paid under 20 bucks each and the shipping was not that expensive either.

Yea I was at bass pro too and they had them as well,

Also fishing world in hamilton had 6-7 mags, a few in stainless I paid $24+ tax

Have never sEen anything over 5 round

Some company in California has 10rd magazines designed, but apparently can't get around the red tape in Cali to actually sell them.

I think a Canadian company should design and sell them.

I've emailed them (17hmrmag) several times, and never gotten an answer to try to find out more about them.

Like you mentioned, we a Canadian company to make some to keep us happy :D
