It was the one in the second last pic that chased me down the deerfoot, I ended up gettin away. I put my neck gaurd on as a precaution.

The Eastern cougar is far from extinct.Cougars are coast to coast and from South America to the treeline.Off topic but a houndsman bayed and photographed a jaguar in Colorado in the early 90's.......Outdoor Life ran the pics.............Harold
Apparently, there have been 500 unconfirmed cougar sightings in Burford, a small town just outside where I live.
Would be quite a sight.
That would be cool, however the MNR needs to acknowledge that they're actually here!
Even if you dumped a dead cougar on the door step of your local MNR office they would insist there is no way to prove it was shot here or that it wasn't shot at a animal sanctuary.There are many sightings, just no confirmed ones by the MNR.
That is 1 cougar per person..
