Saw a Daewoo K2 at the range today.

I remember an R.C.M.P. officer telling me once at the range that I had a very nice looking "Enfield" there, while I was shooting and M-14! Didn't bother to correct him.

Guys, lets not go jumping to conclusions and attacking our friends.

Firearms business licenses can allow for the transport, and use, of prohibited firearms to ranges for the purpose of testing and/or demonstration.

If you don't know how our laws work, keep your mouths shut and your unfounded accusations to yourselves. We are our own worst enemies.

Yep. Mind your own business. Mind you, I was attacked for having an AK at the range years ago...IT WAS A CZ-58 !!!!!!!!!!!!! People are stupid.

well said!!!!!!!

Ahhh, the memories. :) Had a K2 in the 80's, and fired more rounds out of it than my rimfires at the time. Replaced it with a Colt A2 HBar (from Gun of the Month...anyone remember them?), and if there are any regrets in my life, it's selling those two rifles.

a friend of mine who lived in ottawa was a former us marine from az. he was livingin ottawa working at a concrete pipe supplier when his ex gf called the police on him cause she was bat sh@t crazy. when they raided his house they found his k2 and over 50,000 in cash. they called him a hit man for hire in the news and swiftly deported him from canada. the moral of the story is, if you own guns you must be a bad guy and if you have alot of cash in your house you must be up to no good cause you dont like banks. if id would of seen this guy on the range i would of asked if i could of shot it. im sure he doesent kill babys. leave the guy alone.

Still happens, from other gun owners!

And I love the guys that say I have an "arsenal" because I show up with three new people and twelve guns. Some "arsenal". FUDDS are our worst enemies, within our own ranks.

I had one in the late '80's. It shot very well, although it didn't like some cheap 52gr soft points I tried. It left little "copper flowers" about 6' from the muzzle and the rest didn't make it to the target. The 1-7" barrel blowed them up real good! That was in the days when the bullet weight / barrel twist thing was all voodoo.

Did it cause any damage to the rifle and do you have any of the "flowers"?
