I was taking some cash out of ATM today, when a coupel Brinks guys came in and I noticed they were carrying M&P's! I've heard they were ditching the revolvers, but when did this actually happen?

Are all of them have M&P's now? I'm guessing it's 9mm, btw do they have 10rounders or full capacity mags?

I would think they would be 40 S&W, not 9mm since the police carry 40 usually. I work with a guy who is with Brinks and he says they're still carrying the old prohib revolvers. Maybe it just changed in some areas?

Howdy

A couple of Brinks chaps joined our club to get more range time. They are looking forward to the change over to new semi's as their revolvers were showing their age. I asked about mags, 10 shot only as they are not cops:rolleyes:

Do you think they are better armed with a M&P auto vs a S&W wheelgun?

As much as cops are better armed with semis than with the wheel guns of yester-year.

Frankly, I'm glad I get to carry 51 rounds of 9 mm vs. 18 38 Spl +p.

Some police still use 9mm Like RCMP. I saw my first bordergaurd today that was armed. I think it was a beretta Elite2, But I'm not 100% it was holster.
(obviously:)

Here in the East Kootenays,(Cranbrook, BC) they got some M&P .40 and the CFO pulled those out.(Not long after the switch) I guess they thought it was "too much gun" so they are back with some .38 revolvers. I think if your life is gonna depend on that weapon, it better be the best you can possibly carry... real bad move.
