Very nice.

I hope they improve the shape of the trigger guard because the SBE2 busted my knuckle upon recoil and didn't like it.

Is the action spring still located in the stock?

I wonder if the M2 line will get a similar refreshing?

I love my Benellis but these changes seem largely cosmetic and you can be sure these will be ridiculously expensive considering every part/piece is spat out of a machine. I'd be more interested in the SBE 2 clearance pricing that will take place this year,

Yeah, there's not much room for further improvement over current semiautos, unless maybe you're a 3 gunner.

A couple of my friends have the Cabelas Edition SBE2 and they're really nice. I was thinking of buying one this past season but decided to wait.

Right now I have a Beretta Xtrema II that shoots well but I just find the forend to be too big and bulky for me.

The SBE2 just felt better to me.

Agreed.

I put a Nordic Components bolt release and handle on my SBE II last year and after seeing the release on Monday I don't really see an appeal to "upgrading" Is SBE II's get cleared out I may add a second one though, but I'm not holding my breathe, my guess is that the SBE 3 is just that much more, lol.

since its SBE thread, maybe I can throw question/ cooncern regarding my SBE2, when cycling the bolt manually ( not firing) sometimes the bolt get stuck at the rear( without pressing the carrier activator- silver tab), this only happens when I"m not shooting. I have to push the carrier via the ejection port to release the bolt forward. Contacted Benelli USA and even showed the SBE to Stoeger, and they all told its nothing to worry about. I got lots of advice , replacing the carrier spring and or check the breech bolt latch which might be loose. anybody experiencing this with their SBE? my M2 doesnt do this. thanks

Totally normal, bolt needs to be moving quickly in order to push carrier down out of the way and cycle home. Every Benelli I've owned has done that,

thanks, nice to know I'm not alone, but I'm still not comfortable with it, it sounds there is a timing issue if it needs the bolt to cycle fast to push down the carrier.
