SBE II Question...

Now, I'm an old fudd, but a young guy I know has a new SBE II. It doesn't seem to want to cycle a round from the mag into the chamber manually. It will fire all three rds if the magazine is loaded and one put directly in the chamber. This isn't normal or is it?

that is normal. there is a silver latch on the side. when you want to load and cycle manually you'll have to depress that and it will kick a shell into the load gate.
