Hi
A question on your SBE2
Will it cycle reliably with light target loads, any mods done?
And how rounds with limiter removed can put on the mags
Thanks

Two of my hunting buddies use SBEIIs and both cycle light 1 oz loads well. As for removing the magazine plug neither has done this so I can't say.

Mine will cycle 1 oz target loads reliably with no modifications. I have no idea how many it will hold with the plug out, maybe I should find out.

There will be no issues with 1oz loads. My plug went in when I buy my shotguns and never comes out. 4+1 if my memory serves.

Thanks, the reason about my inquiry about its capacity is to know what lenght of mag extension should I get. Planning to use it for the 3 gun and other action shooting type. But its good to know it will cycle light loads since I had accumulated a few - 2 3/4 7.5 oz, 1 1/8 , 2 3/4 dram. ( 1145 fps velocity)

If you are getting the shotgun for action shooting why go with the SBEII? I've seen some that work with light loads while others can have issues. The Benelli M2 is less expensive, equal quality, has a 3" chamber and is probably better suited for lighter loads.

Already have an M2, interested in the additional round of the SBE2 and the loading port, I know someone who just told me that he has mod 2 SBE and both run the same load ad my M2. He is one of the Top shotgunner I know
My present ammo in hand
WW 7.5, 1 1/8oz, 2 3/4 dram -1145 fps
Federal Top Gun with same Specs
Federal Trubal mild recoil slugs

Thanks for all your inputs gents, since already put up with the order, guess have to cross my fingers lol

As soon as the waterfowl season ends my plug comes out. A lot of crows have died on that 4th shot as well as the occasional rabbit. The cheap bulk 100 pack of lead #4 winchester has given the SBE2 no issues to date and they are pretty light rounds.
