SBI ST-22 - 10/22 Receiver

Any details on the complete rifles?

Any chance you're doing shorter bull barrels? 12" has a special place in my heart.

Super eager to see more about this - this will push me back into another 10/22!

Can the old 25, 30 and 50 round mags for the Ruger 10-22 before they were banned be allowed for use with this rifle. I still have a few from back in the day as I gave my 10-22 to my nephew and he just recent6ly lost it in the big fire we had here in Nova Scotia.

Off topic: the legality of >10 round capacity 10/22 mags will not be debated here. Further posts arguing the legality of these magazines will be removed. If you require clarification regarding the legality of mags consult a lawyer.

We would like to clarify chassis / stock compatibility. All 10/22 stocks and chassis are compatible, except any stock / chassis that covers the top of the action. Incompatible stocks include, but not limited to, the SR-22 chassis, ATI AR-22 10/22 stock, and Archangel Nomad Stock.

Is also agree with the above comment, I think a lot of people would also like a lower budget backwoods/ solid barrel version

Once our new barrels arrive we will have a slightly cheaper option. We will also offer barreled receivers with these barrels which will allow people to build a rifle to their own specifications.

Our goal with our rifles is to provide an extremely high quality platform. The reality is we will never be competing to the bottom and we never want to reinforce the perception that Canadian made rifles can't be world class. If you want a cheap gun just buy a standard Ruger 10/22. It's gonna go bang, but as we all know they are crudely made. If you want a super accurate go fast gun, pay to play and buy ours.

For me it’s not so much the price as it is the durability aspect, I have a hard time bringing a rifle with a carbon fibre shrouded barrel into the woods camping, which is why I’ve already purchased just the receiver to build up myself. Also is the receiver 6061 or 7075? Thanks

There is no durability concerns with the carbon fibre. It is extremely durable and we have yet to damage a barrel, and we have abused some of the test rifles. As for alloy, the receiver is 6061 since 7075 is a waste on a 10/22 receiver. The charging handle is 7075, as the extra tensile strength is needed.
