SBI ST-22 - 10/22 Receiver

Can't imagine a nitriding explosion being pretty; I hope nobody was hurt!

An ST-22 on the Superlite chassis could be a sweet bit of SBI goodness.

25 in-lbs for v-block and take down screws. Snug for the RSS pin, torque doesn't matter much on those due to how the force is transmitted.

I recommend never taking the v-block off unless you're changing the barrel. There's no need to do it for normal maintenance.

As for inventory... Our latest run of barrels was delayed due a nitriding plant exploding. More guns will be available across Canada soon!
Any ETA on some black ST-22 receivers? You're out of stock on the website at the moment. Thanks.

I am very happy with my ST-22 with 12.5 inch barrel. I like having the ability to put a brass catcher on it while still being able work the action with the rear charging handle.

I can't wait to use this in May for my next prairie dog shooting trip!

Are we 100% it fits in a Midwest chassis? Specifically this one:

Not saying you are wrong but it looks like the chassis doesn't accommodate receivers with upper rails that are longer on the front than the standard receiver - I have looked at yours but couldn't tell if that was the case.

*Edit*

I think this has been answered later in this thread, and the answer is no.

Any chance you will make a wider charging handle?

I have a receiver inbound and the stock one looks small for my big shovel hands - I would buy an upgrade that resembled something like this:

Will not fit that chassis.
