SBI ST-22 receiver question

My buddy asked me best barrel for snug fit on a sbi-22 10/22 receiver build. So iam wondering what barrels give a snug fit in receiver as he heard that the receiver to barrel fit is quite loose with sbi 10-22’receivers

No one with any experience with these it seems so I directed my friend to get a receiver from dlask as I know they have a snug fit for the barrel

I picked up a SBI to put together a little comp rifle for my son.

I put a 20” KIDD match barrel in it. It was defiantly not snug, not as snug as a factory 10/22. That being said, it does not seem to affect accuracy at all. Averages .7-.8 MOA with SK LRM.

ive done 4 of these all useing dlask bbls. all but one needed to have the freezer / torch treatment to get them to mate

I have a Dlask receiver with a Kidd barrel & it is a very tight fit.
