Scale is drifting

Never even thought about a phone either. That's usually just sitting on the bench a few feet away. I'll plug it directly into the wall as well. The garage is heated during the winter, spring and fall, so that shouldn't be an issue. If the first things don't help I'll try just using batter my and see if that helps.

Another thing I need to do is move my scale to a more isolated spot on my bench, I think it shakes too much. Elimite any RF interference and go from there. I had the same issue with my Lyman 1500 micro touch, and ever since I've gone to an RCBS range master its so much better.

Turn the scale on 30 minutes prior and leave your phone in the house.

How far does an electronic scale have to be from a fluorescent light tube?

I'm not sure, but I'd figure 15-20 feet should be okay. If your scale is on the bench with a flourescent light 4-5 feet above it, I'd think it may be a problem with some scales.
