They have no real regulating to that site. You can double check Gunbroker and search almost identical to the descriptions and 50-60% will show up on there. The EE here is much safer to use.
 
I've had a few successful sales on there, only buying... mostly scammers so I don't bother anymore. If you do, perform your due diligence, check pal with cfo, talk to him on phone etc...

I might of ran into the same person. Was it a Blaser R93 chambered for a 308 win. and the guy is from lower land B.C.?
 
I would only do a face to face deal off that website (albiet near a Police station) for fear of being scammed. I have heard of a couple people making out just fine on it though. Not for me, thats for sure!
 
Avoid that website, very sketchy. Someone accessed my account and posted a firearm for sale, as I didn't frequent the website much I didn't find out until someone e-mailed me asking about it. Deleted my account immediately.

This is why I don't ask people for pictures of their PAL's. I just ask for the PAL number and the expiry date. I can call the RCMP CFO and verify if the PAL is valid or not. Sure I'll be on hold for 30 minutes but what ever. Would rather not have a member of our community get their PAL ripped off and someone going around scamming people with their PAL.
 
I got a deal on that site once. Guy traded me an 858 for a bunch of my cheaper guns. I got it without issue on a ftf deal. Came with a bolt that had been broken and repaired. I caught it at home when it wouldn't feed snap caps properly and I had a better look. I was a complete newb at that point. but buddy ponied up the cash for a new one from dlask. Talking to him after the fact he got really sketchy with some of his stories but that is or another thread lol.

Sometimes I would notice all the ads on that site would change to ads for illegal drugs lol. No joke. Pages and pages of ads for crack, meth, pills etc haha.

That's about when I started using CGN.
