SCAR Where Art Thou ?

However its my understanding that it is not shipped from Belgium in the same configuration that the final product sells for in the US.

That is the best news screw ITAR and the US bring them in they will sell like hotcakes(whatever that is)

hotcakes are another name for pancakes. What's a pancake? Another name for flapjacks? What's a flapjack? Eat your breakfast!

I figure the more emails we can send to them ( FN Herstal Belgium),the more they realize the potential for Canadian sales...and quite frankly, I'm tired of the US red tape we consistently have to go through.. Why should the US be able to dictate the sale of a european firearm to canadians when the same modifications can be done as easily in Europe?

Just my 2 cents..

No SCAR for Christmas... :(

you guys are almost religious when it comes to this rifle... never losing hope lol

it aint happenin' boys... buy an xcr, that's the closest rifle you'll get next to the scar or acr.

Seems really weird that they let Questar bring them into the country without having a FRT for them. I figured a couple weeks but its been over a month now.

RCMP firearm forensics are notoriously slow, that's why OPP (and I think TPS) were hiring more staff to get through their backlog of gun crime cases.

Great to hear such encouraging words from a dealer. You sir are a pillar in the community.

Maybe I should have clarified... It's January 1, and those of us who pre-ordered a SCAR over a year ago (and paid in full several months ago) are still waiting for an FRT so it can be transferred to us. I understand a Canadian version of the ACR will be available through Saskatoon GunWorks.

It doesn't take that long to get a FRT....
