I'm looking for a source for Scattergun Technology parts. I've emailed Wilson but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Of course they don't sell to Canadians.

I tried Brownells and apparently, even though my order is under $100 I need to get an export permit from the US dept of Commerce, an import cert, end user statement, purchase order, my DNA profile and my firstborn:-( Plus it will take 3 months!!???

Specifically they have issue with a +1 mag extension for my 870. Here's what they told me:
COMMERCE TOTAL - $43.45 ——————————————————————————+
| STOCK # SCHL-B # DESCRIPTION QTY SALES |
| 800-710-990 9305290000 SGET-RH1 1-ROUND MAGAZINE EXTENSION 1 43.45 |

Our Dept of Commerce requires this item to be shipped under an export license. Commerce does not look at the dollar value but to the country in which the goods are being shipped to. Since Canada is an active member of the Firearms Convention and Crime Control the item would be required to ship under an export license issued by the Dept of Commerce.

Thanks
Stony

I know he has the sights, and the mag extension is a pretty popular item for 14" barrels, so I think you are G2G.

Strange as I ordered the +1 870 extension on March 3rd from Brownells. No issue with export permits as the total was under $100. Have not received it as of yet but did get confirmation of shipping same day as the order. Should be receiving the order this week - hopefully. Will post when I do.

You should also take a look at the mag extensions made by S&J Hardware. I've used both and much prefer the S&J Hardware product.

This is one of the reasons we make our products in canada.
Allso out magtube are solid steel not thin wall tubing
Sure they cost more but they are some of the best made magtube available anywhere. We have sold them all over the world. Inc the US
