Was this about the Swiss rifle competitions?

Swiss Federal shoot. Generally every 5 years. This was about the "Auslander" Swiss clubs competetion where members of Swiss clubs outside of Switzerland attend that Federal Schützenfest.

I had the pleasure last summer of watching a group of Swiss shooters shoot their Swiss K11s and K31 rifles. At 300m all of them seemed to have no trouble putting 5 rounds into the bullseye - all with iron sights. At one point they were shooting smiley faces!

all I can say is God help anyone who goes to war with the Swiss...
