Does anyone have any experience with the Schmidt and Bender Hungaria line of rifle scopes?
My understanding is that by doing the final assembly in Hungary, they are able to keep their costs down which also lowers the selling price. I wonder if the quality is up to par with the scopes which are assembled in Germany.
The 1.25-4x24 with the German #4 reticle sure looks like it would be an excellent scope for a dangerous game rifle.

i had the german version of it and i did not like the short eye relief and i needed warranty long time ago because of rain. to make the story short once the scope was fixed it was sold ...

I have a hungaria but not in this magnification. 6x42

Im pretty pleased with it, I think it has much better glass than the lower end Steiner and Zeiss and higher end Leupold modern production scopes I’ve owned. Great light transmission. Ymmv as always
