Schmidt & Bender dealer in Canada?

I could source the scope for $2400.

A leupold Mk4 6.5-20x50mm M1 illum would be $1830
and a Nightforce 5.5-22x50mm would be $1799

Remember that the S&B has the reticle on the first focal plane. This makes the reticle larger than the other options, but allows you to range using your mildots at any power.

What would you use a 4-16X scope for? Just curious. Oh and there's no such thing as a 'tactical' anything.

The Shooting Edge were selling S&B scopes. I think they are the best scopes out there, but that's only my opinion. I use them for hunting and prize them for their optics and function, I would not compare them to Leupold. I have to admit I really like reticles on the first focal plane after having used them.

I shoot LR, and quite honestly I want the best. A fixed 4X or a bushnell variable may work for you, but not for me. It's all about the quality; a Uberti Cattleman does everything a Colt SAA does at a fraction of the price and I suspect guys like you would buy one if looking for a "cowboy" gun: I bought the SAA. ;)

I suspect we'll be chatting this winter, good price by the way I was happy to see that.

The only dealer in Canada is in Manitoba.Wolverine supplies

I think Wolverine is the importer... any store in Canada that retails stuff for Wolverine, should be able to get the scope thru Wolverine
