I'm going to be pulling the trigger on a PMII 5-25 with H59 reticle, just trying to decide whether to get the MTC/LT turret, or the DT turret.
I have handled a PMII 5-25 H59 with MTC (no LT) turret, and found the detent to be extremely strong. Trying to dial off the detent went .3 clicks at a minimum, so it would seem difficult to dial 3.1mils unless i'm really paying attention to the feel behind it.
I also handled a PMII 3-20 H59 with MTC/LT that Hungry was demo-ing last weekend, and noticed the MTC to be less harsh, but noticeable enough to realize I was on a "full mil" setting.
I'm also not convinced on how much I would use the LT feature. Although I would have an H59 reticle, my plan would be to dial on stages when targets are at same distance, and only hold when doing multiple engagements at different ranges.
The price difference between the MTC/LT and DT is ~$275
For those of you that have experience with these, what are your opinions?
Because this is meant to be a "buy once, cry once" scope, I want to try and avoid any regret by purchasing either way.
Cheers
