Stumbled across one of these yesterday and didn't have enough kerch$ng to
bring her home.
All original with matching numbers that I could see.
Stamped 30 30 WCF.
Looks like the bore was sporting rust.
How badly I do not know. I wasn't carrying my bore light with me........dang.
Five digit serial number starting with 97***.

What would something of this sort be worth?
History on this gal?

Just trying to fathom whether she's worth the journey to go fetch her?

I don't know the history of them (i.e., who converted them to 30-30), but they do come up for sale with pretty good regularity. They're not a particular valuable firearm, IIRC they're usually listed in the $200-$300 range.
