School me on .22 Lever action plz

Wow!!!
Very Nice OK!! Are the consecutive? Imagine you've had them for awhile.
About the BL's...
I couldn't find any history if Browning (or FN) made a lever in Belgium.
I picked up a beautiful little SA from Belgium and the price wasn't that bad.
But the Browning SA's from Japan were selling awhile ago for like $160 here in Canada.

I don’t think it was a Bowning SA22 selling for $160. It was more likely the Chinese Norinco Knock Off. The Miroku made Brownings are beautiful guns. They’re arguably made better than the original Belgium production SA22’s. it’s a wonder they’re still being produced today. If you’re in the market for a new SA get it while they’re still being made...

I have a few Henry's, levers and a pump. Nice enough rifles, decent prices (at least when I bought them, they've almost doubled since I got my first one). Accurate enough and fun to shoot. I don't love the alloy receiver even though its never really been a problem. Price reflects materials maybe. My bigger problem is as much as I like a classic style lever gun, I hate the straight grip. I've never been comfortable with it no matter what gun it was.

And as .22lrguy stated, I really don't love a tube mag. I'm ok with it in a larger cal but with those tiny rimfires I'm losing patience with my fingers. Hit myself with a hammer too many times.....

That being said, I do like being able to put almost half a box of shorts into the tube and just set to plinking. "Load on Sunday, shoot all week long." Just can't be in a hurry with it I guess.

i love the 9422's,i have 5 of them,1 early 73,2 early XTR's,i Cheyenne,1 Classic in mag,but i also have 2 of the BL-22's,a 1976 Grad 2 and a new Micro Midas, although that short throw looks strange,it sure works well.keeping your eye on the target and just flicking your fingers is quite fun,,a lot harder to do with the Winchester, lately pump 22's have been fun to,have 2 older Rossi 62's.the long and the short one, both extremely accurate.i dont have a Marlin 39 yest,a buddy buys them all.he's got about 20 of the things, and they are as expensive as Winchesters, hard to touch any of them under $1000.00 in top condition, but they are worth the money, and you know the value will only go up..the Henry's are cheap and fun,but they'll never go up in value,

I’ve owned the 9422, Henry and BL-22. I eventually sold everything except the BL-22. Cycles ammo the best, fast and short lever throw is excellent. Phenomenal plinker and hunting gun.

I have an older bl22 grade 2. Got it for a good price. Feels really nice, action is smooth, i really like the loading tube lock feature and it is accurate. Then i got a henry hoo1 for my son in law. I love it. The action is a full throw, unlike the short throw of the browning, but it is butter smooth and feels right. It looks in place alongside my 1960 ‘94 and my dad’s 1956 ‘94 and for that matter my 1936 marlin 36. If i ever find a marlin 39 22 i will add it to my collection, though i would not hesitate to get a henry of my own.

I can echo the sentiments on the Ithaca- mine developed a chamber burr and I can tell you it wasn't fired much- I was "talked" into buying that pos by my grandfather that took only about 100 rounds- that's the m49r not the ones made by Erma with the Ithaca name on them
