I have a question for shooters who have the "smaller" Schultz and Larsen rifles, the M70 or M77. I understand the distinction between the two may often be blurred because of the interchangeability of triggers. Anyway, for those with the "adjustable trigger," what is the pull weight range of that trigger? That is how light can it safely go? How heavy?

I've learned that a lot of S&L M70/M77 may be hard to identify as far as which of the two models it actually is because they look alike. The triggers are different in the two models but the triggers appear to be easily swapped. The M70 has a trigger that is less adjustable, the M77 more adjustable.

Here is the older trigger, probably from a M70

The following is the more adjustable trigger, perhaps that found on the newer M77

The above trigger can be adjusted with a hex key

These two triggers are described in Danish in this literature

It gets a little more confusing with the following trigger, which can also be found on M70/77 look alike rifles. I haven't seen the M88 model so I can't say if it may be similar to the trigger on that more recent rifle. This trigger gets down to 8 - 9 ounces.

If anyone has more information on the triggers, please post.
