Schultz & Larson rear sight

I have an S&L Model 70 and noticed some vertical play in the rear sight, is there an adjustment or shimming to correct this?

I tighten the slotted screw on the side and no play. Well, all peeps have some play in my experience, but its minor

Cool, thanks.
It has always had a bit of play but with the original aperture it didn't seem to make a difference.
I just installed an adapter and adjustable aperture which hangs out the back of the sight a over an inch so the play is more evident.
