Scissor jack front rest

I have made several they work good but depending on the jack they wobble side to side, as a result of having play in them. (some are better than others) Sorry I don't have pictures of any of the rests at this time. Pick a jack with less play in it and with a little ingenuity you could find a way to lock out the wobble, I just haven't spent anymore time perfecting the ones I've made. Good luck! Shoot straight!

I have made up a few of them. Welded a 4 inch long piece of 4 inch channel iron on top to hold a small sandbag and made about a 12 inch square base to make it steadier so it did not wobble so much. Also, welded a round gear to the end of the threaded rod to make it easier to grab and elevate it.

I made up four similar ones to bolt to tables as a gun club range and they worked quite well too.
