Scope Adjustment help.

I had to remove the Objective Adjustment Ring on my Bushnell Elite 3200 AO , sand had gotten in the threads. Now when replacing it back is there a certain way it has to be tightened before you tighten the small screw. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you actually remove the ring and front lens? If so, I think that your scope needs to go back for factory service. The seals are broken, the nitrogen is gone, and internal fogging is going to be inevitable.

Scopes aren't exactly designed for home-workbench disassembly.
