Trying to get my head around this MOA thing.
Zeroed the scope in at 100 yards. So if the scope is " one click is 1/4 inch at 100 yards" And the ballistics calculator says at 400 yards the drop will be -7.4 do I go up 2 clicks on the scope?

Ballistics Calculator says " click value = 1/4 moa
ballistics calculator says drop is -7.4 moa

What info am I missing?

It could be that "Drop" is drop with the barrel parallel to the ground, and you use the other number. Who knows.

You need a calculator that doesn't tell you drop with the barrel parallel to the ground, just gives you one number that you can actually use.

No. You must go up 7.4 multiplied by 4 clicks per minute = 29.6 call it 30 clicks.

This is only if the 7.4 you are quoting is MOA of drop.

If the 7.4 is inches of drop, then that would be approximately 7.4 divided by 4 = 1.84 MOA, which would be 7.4 clicks, call it eight clicks up.

Simple as pie!
