Scope and bases for my savage 110

Hey all!

I need your opinion and knowledge on a good scope for my savage 110 in 270.

Also I'm going to need to get bases for it, I'm going to need bases, the rifle is flat top on the back and rounded at the front.

What would be a good hunting scope? I'm kinda leaning towards a Bushnell elite 3500, 42/4500 series? Something that has clear glass a hunting ranges 100 yards and under, maybe a 2-7 power?

Any ideas would be most appreciated!

A Bushnell 2.5-10 x 40 (4500 4x) would be a good buy - I bought two of the 4-16x50 for my 308 and 6.5 (Savage Model 12FV)

the Bushnell 3500 is a great scope at a great price
2-7 or 3-9 both would work well
I prefer the higher numbers to keep it dialed down just in case there's more distortion at the ends of the magnification range.

Heads up for the bases. I just finished this same install on a 110 and you’ll need an extended front base Weaver #402 and rear #61. Just too much distance between rings and newer scope won’t fit.

look up EGW, evolution gun works. They provide the OEM rails on the 10tr, and probably other models. Very affordable.

I have 3 of their rails on different rifles, excellent stuff. I wish MDT made 0 MOA rails!

For scopes you should also consider Burris Fullfield IV, they have 2.5-10 and 3-12 which are both great hunting options.
