I had that exact same scope on my savage BV and while it was pretty decent the cross hairs were too thick for fine small targets. The same scope with a BDC recticle has a much finer cross hairs. They just had the same scope on sale last weekend at GROUSE. River. For $200 but they sold out quickly. For not much more you can get the 6-24×50.Remember the 30mm tube gives you more moa of adjustment. I bought mine last June from Prarie gun traders $319 BDC reticle was a great deal. Phone some of the sponsors on here and usually you get a better price. One of the site sponsor should have the bushnell in stock
