scope base for a mosin

Well, a Mosin typically wouldn't have a scope to start with, except for the snipers - And right now good repro snipers are being sold in various places (some of this site's sponsors are good sources) for around $800. It would cost more to build your own...

No it dosent...

Cost me under 400$ to build one from scratch thats included the riffle...

:D

Ebay is where I got my PU base... paid 65$...

I personally wound't recommend that approach. Don't get me wrong, Tuscon's work looks like it was well done (fun tutorial too). But, I don't know if I'd spend even as little as he did to get these parts. A cheap repro scope, a cheap repro mount... How many rounds before they start falling apart? It's one thing to look like the real stuff, it's another to actually perform is a satisfactory manner for a satisfactory amount of time. My 2 cents anyways,

There is nothing better than original !

I hope that I more than expressly answered Your question in relation to that, whether the bracket of Kochetova was used on the sniper rifles of Mosina.
Successes.

I have so many other projects on the go I dunno if I have time for another rifle that will likely never see the range. Kristan55 thank you for the offer on the mount but I have no idea what your trying to say in your PM's, are you using some sort of russian to english online translator?

You can write the suggestions.
I perfectly understand them.
I see a difference in that my language and ideas go from the transmitter of Russian of,- for you transmitter English - simply the train of our thoughts and utterances not always is clear, BUT I do not see a problem herein.
Kristian.
